The tour starts in Marrakech, heading east towards the Ouzoud waterfalls. These falls are a top attraction in Morocco, standing as the second highest waterfall in Africa at 110 meters tall.
Our journey begins with a pick-up from your location, followed by a scenic drive of about 160 km to reach the waterfalls from Marrakech.
Upon arrival, you’ll have the opportunity to explore the area and partake in various activities alongside the locals. We’ll then return to Marrakech in the afternoon

ITINERARY: DAY TRIP TO OUZOUD WATERFALLS




You’ll start your day trip from Marrakech at 8:00 am, departing from your accommodation. The journey takes about 3 hours, crossing the stunning Atlas Mountains to reach the Ouzoud waterfalls located north of Marrakech in the village of Tanaghmeilt. Along the way, you’ll pass through vast olive tree fields, and as you approach, the majestic falls will come into view—a sight to behold!
You’ll reach the village of Ouzoud from here. When you get there, you can explore the area by yourself or hire a local guide to show you around. You’ll see waterfalls that drop more than 110 meters, one after the other, while walking on trails that lead to small pools at the bottom.
You can have lunch whenever you want at one of the nearby restaurants that serve delicious tagines next to the river, while enjoying the views of the waterfalls and relaxing before heading back up to the village. Your driver will be waiting to take you back to Marrakech, and the day trip usually ends around 7-8 PM, depending on traffic and the time of year. You’ll be dropped off at your hotel or the closest point to your riad.
